HOW IT WORKS

In the Maya Protocol ecosystem, individuals or entities known as Node Operators play a crucial role by managing a 'Validator Node'. These Validator Nodes are essential components that run instances of every blockchain supported by the Maya Protocol, contributing significantly to the security and stability of the network.

NODE OPERATORS

Node Operators are rewarded for their contributions, but there's a catch: to earn these rewards, a Validator Node must be both bonded with capital and actively participating in the network's operations. Rewards are distributed in Cacao, the protocol's currency, following each 'churn' event, a regular process that updates the network's state.

BECOME AN ACTIVE OPERATOR

To activate a Validator Node within the network, a certain amount of capital is required. This capital can be in the form of CACAO (the protocol's own currency) or LP (liquidity provider) tokens. The specific minimum capital requirement is detailed on the network's official page.

EARN FROM YOUR LP

This is where your opportunity lies. By bonding your LP tokens to a Validator Node, you not only contribute to the network's security and efficiency but also stand to earn Node rewards. These rewards are in addition to any LP rewards you might already be receiving.
